Children's Privacy Policy
Praxis Saxophone requires users to be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Users aged 13–17 should have a parent or guardian review these terms.
Age Requirement
Praxis Saxophone is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
If you are under 13, please do not use the App or provide us with any personal information. If you are between 13 and 17, please have a parent or legal guardian review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before you use the App.
How We Screen for Age
When you create an account, we ask for your date of birth. If you indicate that you are under 13, you will not be able to create an account or use the App. We rely on the information you provide and do not independently verify age.
If We Discover a Child Under 13 Has Registered
If we learn that a user is under 13, we will:
- Immediately disable access to the account.
- Delete the account and all associated personal data within 30 days.
- Notify the email address on the account (if any) that the account has been removed.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at support@clefscape.com. Include “Minor Account” in the subject line. We will investigate and act promptly.
Users Aged 13–17
For users in this age group:
- We do not serve targeted advertising.
- We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising purposes.
- Practice data (pitch scores, session history, progress metrics) is used solely to deliver the service.
- We recommend that parents or guardians review the App’s privacy settings with their child.
Parents may request a copy of their minor child’s data or request its deletion by contacting support@clefscape.com.
Parental Controls
The App does not currently include built-in parental controls. We recommend that parents:
- Use iOS Screen Time controls to manage App usage.
- Review practice session history with their child periodically.
- Contact us if they have concerns about data collected.
COPPA Compliance (United States)
Praxis Saxophone is directed at users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13 within the meaning of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it in accordance with COPPA requirements.
